Haber, with music and lyrics by Jack Herrick, and contributions from Michael Bogdanov, Bland Simpson and Tommy Thompson, the show featured the Red Clay Ramblers, "who since 1975 have been melding bluegrass with jazz and rock," according to the label's website.

Lone Star Love, which opened at off-Broadway's John Houseman Theatre on December 8th, 2004 and closed on February 6th, 2005, was

"sixteen tracks ranging from playful to powerful to richly romantic, and embraces composers from Irving Berlin and Harold Arlen to Jule Styne and Stephen Sondheim (the latter in an expansive five-song suite)."  Other recent PS Classics releases include the cast recording of Captain Louie and Sondheim Sings Vol. II.
