Americano! - a groundbreaking, true-story musical on the life of a Dreamer debuting in Phoenix in January- has launched new billboards in New York's Times Square.

The U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments on Tuesday (November 12) on the future of DACA (the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) and President Donald Trump's bid to end the immigration program. Tony Valdovinos will be watching those arguments and how the Supreme Court rules on DACA. Valdovinos is a DREAMer. His parents brought him to the U.S. from Mexico when he was 2 years old. Tony did not know that until his 18th birthday when he tried to fulfill his dream of serving his country by joining the U.S. Marines.

He walked into a Marine Corps recruiting station in Phoenix on his 18th birthday to enlist, only to discover his parents hadn't told him that he was an undocumented immigrant. But this DREAMer didn't give up on serving the only country he had ever knowna?"he did it in other powerful ways instead. 

In all respects, The Phoenix Theatre Company's production of KINKY BOOTS, directed by Pasha Yamotahari and featuring a bravura performance by Darius Harper as Lola, is DAZZLING! A must-see! Runs through October 13th in TPTC's Mainstage Theatre.

BBC AMERICA today announced the expansion of its highly successful broadcast and streaming of Professional Darts, adding the 2018/2019 World Darts Championship from London's sold-out Alexandra Palace from December 13 to January 1. The best matches of the week will air Sunday mornings from 9:00am-12:00pm ET. BBCA will stream a record 111 hours live on BBC America.com. The Final will air in primetime on BBC AMERICA on Tuesday, January 1 at 9:30pm ET following the Doctor Who New Year's Day special.

A powerful theme ~ that defining a woman by the size and shape of her breast is demeaning and destructive ~ weaves throughout her performance but risks getting lost in periodic snarls of distraction. What a powerhouse of a one-woman show this would be if it were more focused and streamlined!
