Last week, R.Evolución Latina held their free annual summer camp with the participation of over 90 campers and 50 volunteers and artists sharing their art and giving back. Founded in 2008, the D2GB Performing Arts Camp provides free-of-charge classes in dance, voice, acting and other performance disciplines to children ages 7 to 17 from multiple schools and community organizations from across the city.

2017 Regional Theatre Tony Award® Recipient Dallas Theater Center presents In the Heights, a family-friendly musical from Hamilton's creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. Directed by James Vasquez at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre, In the Heights opens on Sept. 21 and runs through Oct. 20. BWW Previews: Richland High School To Stage GODSPELL This January.

From January 21st through January 23rd, the students of Richland High School's Fine Arts Department will present the musical GODSPELL by Stephen Schwartz (WICKED, PIPPIN). Based on the Gospel according to St. Matthew, GODSPELL is the musical tale of a group of people who work with Jesus to build a strong community. Through storytelling, games and comedic vignettes, the playful story and eclectic score demonstrates key moments of Jesus' life, leading the audience to find hope past the Crucifixion. Featuring the international hit, 'Day by Day,' Godspell features a series of well-known songs, including 'Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord,' 'Learn Your Lessons Well,' 'All for the Best,' 'All Good Gifts,' 'Turn Back, O Man' and 'By My Side.'

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) today announces the cast for the new holiday classic, Elf The Musical, running tomorrow, Dec. 6 - 22 at Hobby Center's Sarofim Hall. Making his TUTS debut as the loveable 'elf' Buddy is Tommy J. Dose. He played Alfred Doolittle in the national tour of My Fair Lady and has circulated the regional theatre scene with companies including the Fulton Theatre, the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra, and the Cumberland County Playhouse.
