This past season he made his Broadway debut as Lucky in the tap-happy revival of Dames At Sea. Now Danny Gardner shuffles onto the grand stage at Radio City making his debut in the New York Spectacular Starring The Radio City Rockettes. As part of the principal cast, Danny joins eighty performers in this new show that celebrates New York City in the summertime. It's centered around the trip of a lifetime for two kids, who, while on a vacation in New York, are separated from their parents. The city magically comes to life and helps to reunite their family in the end. It's all directed and choreographed by Emmy Award-winner Mia Michaels, and is written by Drama Desk Award-winner Douglas Carter Beane.

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE (SYTYCD) returns for a 13th season that will feature a younger generation of dancers. This season, dancers between the ages of 8-13, who are skilled in various dance styles, such as contemporary, tap, hip-hop, ballroom, animation or breaking, will be paired up with All-Stars to compete for the title of America's Favorite Dancer. Premiering today, May 30 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX, the new season of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE: THE NEXT GENERATION will feature returning host Cat Deeley and returning judges Nigel Lythgoe, Paula Abdul and Jason Derulo.

A Drama Desk award-winner is recruited to conjure up a New York adventure fit for audiences at Radio City.

The Madison Square Garden Company announced today that Jenna Ortega and Lilla Crawford will share the role of Emily, the teen girl lead in New York Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes, presented by Chase at Radio City Music Hall. FINDING NEVERLAND, the story of how Peter became Pan, celebrated the arrival of its three latest stars following the performance on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Three time Tony Award-nominee Marc Kudisch, Sally Ann Triplett, and Tony Award-winner Alfie Boe celebrated with the rest of the company over a slice of Neverland themed cake, courtesy of The Cake Boss. Tony-nominated Broadway favorite Marc Kudisch will step into the duo roles of Charles Frohman and Captain James Hook in the hit Broadway musical Finding Neverland, the story of how Peter became Pan, beginning Tuesday, April 12. As previously announced, ensemble member Paul Slade Smith will play both roles until Kudisch steps into role. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Emmy and Golden Globe award winner Kelsey Grammer recently took his final bow as Charles Frohman/Hook in Broadway's Finding Neverland on April 3rd. Grammer returned to the role on January 19th of this year after a brief hiatus. Paul Slade Smith will take over the role temporarily beginning this week. Sources have told us that Broadway favorite Marc Kusdisch will take on the role next, officially joining the company on April 12.

Emmy and Golden Globe award winner Kelsey Grammer is taking his final bow as Charles Frohman/Hook in Broadway's FINDING NEVERLAND today, April 3rd. Grammer returned to the role on January 19th of this year after a brief hiatus. He originated the role when the production opened on Broadway in March of last year and garnered wide acclaim. 

Tony Award-winner Alfie Boe, the British tenor acclaimed for his role as 'Jean Valjean' in the widely watched 2010 25th anniversary special televised concert at London's O2 arena of LES MISERABLES, again in the West End's 2011 production, and in Broadway's current revival, takes over the role of 'J.M. Barrie' in Broadway's FINDING NEVERLAND tonight, March, 29.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Paul Slade Smith, who originated the role of Mr. Henshaw in Broadway's Finding Neverland, will succeed Kelsey Grammer in the role of Charles Frohman/Captain Hook starting April 5th. 

Garrett Marks, a 2013 magna cum laude graduate of Belmont University, left Nashville with two degrees in hand: a BFA in Dance and a BS in Entertainment Industry Studies - and hasn't slowed down since, it seems, although he maintains it took him a while to find his groove.

The Madison Square Garden Company (MSG) announced today that three-time Emmy Award-winner Mia Michaels will serve as director and choreographer of the New York Spectacular Starring The Radio City Rockettes, presented by Chase. Michaels will be joined by Drama Desk Award-winner Douglas Carter Beane as the show's writer, Alain Lortie as lighting designer, and multi-media and entertainment studio, Moment Factory, as video designer. Returning from 2015's successful inaugural production of the then called New York Spring Spectacular are set designer Patrick Fahey and costume designer Emilio Sosa, and from the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, sound designer Steve Canyon Kennedy.
