Two River Theater, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Dias and Managing Director Michael Hurst, concludes its 2014/15 Season with Be More Chill, a new musical with music and lyrics by Joe Iconis and book by Joe Tracz, based on the acclaimed 2004 novel by Ned Vizzini. The production is directed by Stephen Brackett, with orchestrations by Charlie Rosen, music direction by Nathan Dame, and choreography by Chase Brock. The production will run May 30-June 21, 2015, with the opening night on Friday, June 5. Tickets starting at $20 are available from 732.345.1400 or www.tworivertheater.org. With Tamara Harvey's production of Pride &Prejudice to open shortly in the Crucible, Artistic Director Daniel Evans today announces the cast for his production of Lucy Prebble's The Effect - Stuart Bunce (Toby), Priyanga Burford (Dr James), Ophelia Lovibond (Connie), Henry Pettigrew (Tristan). The production opens on 30 June, with previews from 25 June, and runs until 18 July.

Producers of SHREK THE MUSICAL today announced that the larger-than-life production will coming to the King's Theatre tonight 29 April Sunday 17 May 2015, direct from London, where it was seen live on stage by nearly a million people.

In this taut 2013 theatrical adaptation of Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela's award winning-book, the apartheid regime's most notorious assassin and head of its death squad, Eugene de Kock (played by Matthew Marsh), sits opposite psychologist Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela (played Noma Dumezweni) in Pretoria Central Prison in 1997. Gobodo-Madikizela is a member of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission determined to understand his actions. She questions de Kock, who is sentenced to two life terms plus 212 years for crimes against humanity, murder, conspiracy to murder, attempted murder, assault, kidnapping, illegal possession of firearms, and fraud.

The Menier Chocolate Factory announces an extra performance to the sold-out run of James Freedman's show Man of Steal. In addition to the 8pm performance, there will now also be a 6pm show on Sunday 26 April. Tickets are now on sale.

The Donmar Warehouse has confirmed the full cast for The Vote. Howard Davies will direct Steve Waters' new play TEMPLE, a fictionalised account of the events that took place during the 2011 Occupy demonstration outside St Paul's Cathedral. Simon Russell Beale will return to the Donmar stage to play the Dean having previously starred in The Philanthropist, Twelfth Night and Uncle Vanya (for which he won the 2003 Olivier Award for Best Actor).
