The Menier Chocolate Factory today announces a major new revival of Tom Stoppard's TRAVESTIES - the first London revival in over 20 years. Patrick Marber directs Tom Hollander as he returns to the stage to play Henry Carr. The production opens on 4 October, with previews from 22 September and runs until 19 November.

Full casting has been announced for Andrew Bovell's Things I Know To Be True, an exciting international co-production between Frantic Assembly and State Theatre Company of South Australia. Matthew Barker, Natalie Casey, Richard Mylan, Kirsty Oswald, Ewan Stewart and Imogen Stubbs will star in the play's UK premiere at the Lyric Hammersmith from 10th September until 1st October 2016 before embarking upon a UK tour.

GUYS AND DOLLS today announces that Simon Lipkin will be joining the West End cast for a limited time at the Phoenix Theatre to play the part of Nathan Detroit from Tuesday 28 June until Sunday 21 August 2016. He will play opposite the award-winning actor Rebel Wilson as Miss Adelaide.

Following their success at the Tony Awards last night, where they won Best Musical Revival for The Color Purple and Cynthia Erivo won Best Actress in a Musical, the Menier Chocolate Factory announces that rehearsals start today in New York for innovative and ground breaking theatre company Fiasco's enchanting reinvention of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's masterpiece Into The Woods. Both Sondheim and Lapine will join the company in rehearsal this week. The production opens on 12 July at the Menier, with previews from 1 July, and runs until 17 September.

Commemorating the centenary of the Battle of the Somme, the world premiere of IT IS EASY TO BE DEAD by award-winning playwright Neil McPherson opens at the Finborough Theatre for a four week limited season on Wednesday, 15 June 2016. Born in Aberdeen, Charles Sorley was studying in Germany when the First World War broke out and was briefly imprisoned as an enemy alien. He was one of the first to join the army in 1914. Killed in action a year later at the age of 20, his poems are among the most ambivalent, profound and moving war poetry ever written.

After months of anticipation, the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child finally begins previews at the Palace Theatre in the West End this week. The new play is a collaboration between Potter creator J.K. Rowling, playwright Jack Thorne and director John Tiffany, and stars Jamie Parker as Harry Potter, Poppy Miller as Ginny Potter, Sam Clemmett as Albus Potter, Paul Thornley as Ron Weasley, Noma Dumezweni as Hermione Granger, Cherrelle Skeete as Rose Granger-Weasley, Alex Price as Draco Malfoy, Anthony Boyle as Scorpius Malfoy.
