On Friday, September 5, at 8pm the Midtown International Theater Festival Awards will take place. The MITF Awards will honor the best shows and performances from the recently completed Ninth Annual Midtown InterNational Theatre Festival, which took place from July 14-August 10 of this year.
Trouble in Mind, Alice Childress' drama of race, identity and opportunity in the American theatre, will be produced by Yale Repertory Theatre from October 26 to November 17. Opening night is Thursday, November 1.
