Cortland Repertory Theatre wraps up their 42nd annual summer season with the regional premiere of the thriller/comedy 'I'll Be Back Before Midnight', by Peter Colley. This award-winning play has been described by the Toronto Globe & Mail as 'the most widely produced stage play in Canadian history'. It also has the distinction of having been produced in 48 of the 50 US states, every province in Canada and 29 countries around the globe including Mexico, Italy, China, Kenya, Spain, Ireland, Jamaica and Australia. The Queens Players presents Macbeth, with direction by Alberto Bonilla, tonight, July 11 through the 27th.

After critically acclaimed productions this season of Twelfth Night, Much Ado About Nothing, and Euripides' The Bacchae, the Queens Players returns to the Secret Theatre main stage with a bloody and soul haunting retelling of William Shakespeare's MACBETH. Scroll down for photos of the cast!

The Gallery Players of Park Slope, Brooklyn are hosting the 16th Annual Black Box New Play Festival. The Festival premieres 14 new plays, varying from 10 minute to full length productions, over the course of four weekends. Each weekend will contain a different program of plays, beginning May 30th and running to June 23rd. Performances will take place at 8:00pm on Thursday, Today and Saturday, as well as 3:00pm on Sunday.

Pantochino Productions Inc, Connecticut's non-profit theatre company, has announced the cast of its first Pantochino After-Dark production, "The Little Dog Laughed." The comedy will be performed at Arts Hall in New Haven, October 5 -12.

Cortland Repertory Theatre starts their celebratory 40th Anniversary 'Ruby Jubilee' season at the Little York Pavilion with 'Rumors', a hysterical farce penned by America's Master of Comedy, Neil Simon. Simon is best known for his cannon of wildly successful comedies, and is the only playwright in history to have four shows running on Broadway at the same time: 'The Odd Couple', 'Barefoot in the Park', 'The Star Spangled Girl' and the musical 'Sweet Charity'. He has been nominated 17 times for the Tony Award, has won 3, and also won the Pulitzer Prize for his semi-autobiographical comedy/drama 'Lost in Yonkers'. 'Rumors' is the only true farce that he has added to his extensive body of work.
