As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Broadway Records will release a New Broadway Cast Album of Fiddler on the Roof. It will have its worldwide release on March 18th and be available to purchase at The Broadway Theatre beginning March 8th. The recording is currently available for pre-order at The Broadway Theatre, on Amazon.com and on the label's website,http://www.broadwayrecords.com/. The album is being produced by David Lai,Ted Sperling and Louise Gund.

Big news for Fiddler fans! Broadway Records has just announced plans to release a New Broadway Cast Album of Fiddler on the Roof. It will have its worldwide release on March 18th and be available to purchase at The Broadway Theatre beginning March 8th.
The producers of the hit Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof announced this morning that the production will donate $2 from every full-price ticket purchased to the show for all February 2016 performances to The United Way of Genesee County's Flint Water Fund, which directly provides aid the Michigan city's residents, currently suffering from a critical drinking water contamination crisis.
SWEPT, a short film created by Jeanna de Waal and Morgan Lynch (Lil' Mamas Productions), and produced by Katherine Paige, has been accepted into The NewFilmmakers Festival in New York City. Watch the trailer below!

FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher, who most recently helmed the 2015 Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of The King and I. Sher has directed Burstein on Broadway in the revivals of Golden Boy and South Pacific, as well as in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. It will be choreographed byHofesh Shechter, inspired by the original choreography of Jerome Robbins, and the music director will be Ted Sperling (The King and I, South Pacific).
