Philadelphia's Broadway dreams will come true once again when the Broadway Dreams Foundation offers their Summer Performing Arts Intensive for the second consecutive year at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts (300 South Broad Street) Monday, August 2 through Sunday, August 8, 2010.
Los Feliz' famous Show at Barre's star-studded, concert of Jawbreaker, a new musical based on the cult-classic film, will perform a encore performance on Friday July 30 at 10pm. As previously announced the concert will also be performed on Thursday, July 29th at 9pm.
Actors Co-op in Hollywood is featuring the new musical TRAILS, from the songwriting team of Jeff Thomson and Jordan Mann, as a bonus production to their season in July.

This Saturday June 26th, two previous Elphabas from the widely popular Broadway musical Wicked will take the stage in Columbus. Julia Murney and Stephanie J. Block will sing in a special "Wicked Divas" concert with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra as part of the Nationwide Insurance Picnic with the Pops series. The orchestra is scheduled to perform selections from George Bizet's Carmen. Murney and Block will sing selections from Wicked, as well as Ragtime, Chicago, Funny Girl, and much more.
The new horror film, 'Bitter Feast', featuring Megan Hilty, will premiere at the LA Film Festival June 18th, 2010. 'Bitter Feast' tells the story of Peter Grey, a celebrity television chef. When a pretentious blogger named J.T. Franks gives Grey an awful review, the chef gets revenge. He kidnaps the blogger, locks him in the basement, and challenges him to cook specific dishes. If Franks fails, he faces unbearable torture. Zap2it calls the film, 'deliciously scary'.

Many talented performers from the worlds of stage and screen are coming together to perform on Monday evening, June 7, in support of their friend and colleague Ana Adame, who has been fighting late-stage lymphoma since February of this year. The curtain will rise at 8pm at Boston Court Performing Arts Center in Pasadena, with doors opening at 7:00 for a silent auction. Angels 4 Ana is a visiting presentation at Boston Court Performing Arts Center.

Broadway veteran Shoshana Bean, best known for her roles in Wicked and Hairspray is about to make her first trip Down Under to perform shows in Brisbane, Adelaide and Sydney, much to the delight of her Australian fans. Shoshana was nice enough to take the time to answer some questions for BroadwayWorld ahead of her upcoming Australian tour.
Tonight, Monday, May 24th at 8pm, 88's Cabaret is very excited to celebrate its 3rd Anniversary with performances honoring the last three years. The event will be held at La Boheme's sister restaurant Gonpachi in Beverly Hills. Gonpachi will feature a special menu for 88's with something for everyone (and not at Beverly Hills prices!). Appetizers will start at just $3. The cost is $15 to be seated with dinner (with dinner reservation) and $10 for standing room only, with a cash cover at the door. Cover prices have been lowered as a thanks to all patrons over the past three years. There will be a big announcement at the show that 88's is very excited about. A tuneful, funny musical score meets a giant man-eating plant when Cabrillo Music Theatre's production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS devours the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. One of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows of all time, with a hit movie and a Broadway revival to its credit, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS will close Sunday, May 2nd. Locally produced exclusively for Southern California audiences, performances take place at the 1,800-seat Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, located at 2100 Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Thousand Oaks.
