'At This Performance,' the ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway standbys and understudies is set to continue March 20-21.

Arguably the biggest blockbuster stage musical of this fresh century, WICKED has returned to Orange County for an almost month-long engagement at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts through April 3. The stage musical -- a consistent box-office hit since its Broadway debut seven years ago -- has ballooned into a worldwide phenomenon. A visual and aural splendor from start to finish, WICKED is a near-perfect combination of imaginative story, complex characters, memorable music, fantastic sets and costumes, and even universally-applaudable messages of tolerance and individual self-expression.

Peter and the Starcatcher is now underway at New York Theatre Workshop. Rick Elice and directors Roger Rees and Alex Timbers have teamed up to bring this story of Peter Pan before Neverland to the stage. The production stars Adam Chanler-Berat, Christian Borle and Celia Keenan-Bolger.

Academy Award-winning actress Anjelica Huston has been reported to join the cast of the NBC pilot 'Smash'. She'll be joining the already announced Broadway regulars Christian Borle and Megan Hilty, as well as Debra Messing, Jack Davenport, Raza Jeffrey, and American Idol finalist Katharine McPhee.

Tony Award-winning actress Lillias White delighted students as their special surprise guest during the Broadway Artists Alliance 2011 Winter Workshop. Megan Hilty has nabbed the coveted lead role in Steven Spielberg's new NBC pilot Smash, an ambitious drama about the mounting of a Broadway musical alongside Debra Messing. The pilot, produced by DreamWorks TV and UMS, follows a cross section of characters who come together to put on a Marilyn Monroe musical on Broadway. TV writer/playwright Theresa Rebeck wrote the script for Smash and is executive producing with Spielberg, Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey of DreamWorks TV, Hairspray producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron and Grammy and Tony-winning songwriters Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman who will pen original songs for the show. Michael Mayer (American Idiot) is directing. This has been a passion project for new NBC chief Bob Greenblatt who first developed it at Showtime.
