Now, the network has posted teaser clips of their new series that we just CAN'T WAIT to see! Here Megan Hilty hits one out of the park as her Smash character, Ivy.

First introduced to locals here in Southern California back in 2008 during its pre-Broadway tryouts at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles, the 1st National Tour of the retooled 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL has arrived in Orange County for a week of shows ending May 10 at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Zippier and more compact than its previous stage incarnations, the show--featuring original songs written by Dolly Parton--takes the original hit 1980 film comedy and repurposes it into a cute, charming musical about the struggles of women in a male-dominated workplace.

With Annie returning to Broadway in 2012, Broadway Artists Alliance of New York City was pleased to present the first of several Annie-themed master classes on April 17th. 25 eager and very talented young ladies participated in a full day of triple threat training, including scene study, song interpretation, and learning choreography from a production number in the show.

As previously reported by BroadwayWorld, NBC has picked up a new pilot entitled SMASH, which is about a group of people who come together to put on a Broadway musical. The series was developed by NBC's Robert Greenblatt, Steven Spielberg, and Broadway producing team Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.

Dolly Parton, Colin Farrell, Sean Hayes, Chris Colfer, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Allison Janney, Melissa Etheridge, Joel McHale, Kirsten Dunst, and Chaz Bono were among the celebrities who joined the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) as it honored Kristin Chenoweth, NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt, and the best in television and journalism last night at the 22nd Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles, hosted by Amy Poehler and Rashida Jones. 'At This Performance,' the ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway standbys and understudies is set to continue March 20-21.

Arguably the biggest blockbuster stage musical of this fresh century, WICKED has returned to Orange County for an almost month-long engagement at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts through April 3. The stage musical -- a consistent box-office hit since its Broadway debut seven years ago -- has ballooned into a worldwide phenomenon. A visual and aural splendor from start to finish, WICKED is a near-perfect combination of imaginative story, complex characters, memorable music, fantastic sets and costumes, and even universally-applaudable messages of tolerance and individual self-expression.

Peter and the Starcatcher is now underway at New York Theatre Workshop. Rick Elice and directors Roger Rees and Alex Timbers have teamed up to bring this story of Peter Pan before Neverland to the stage. The production stars Adam Chanler-Berat, Christian Borle and Celia Keenan-Bolger.

Tony Award-winning actress Lillias White delighted students as their special surprise guest during the Broadway Artists Alliance 2011 Winter Workshop. Lillias White (Fela, The Life, etc.) lent her talents for a surprise Q&A with the students of Broadway Artists Alliance. White shared her experiences in the business and expert advice to the 100 eager up-and-coming young artists ages 10 to 21.
