Tony-Award Winning Star Donna McKechnie Returns to TheatreZone -- Takes on lead role as Marmee in Little Women: The Broadway Musical Broadway star and legendary entertainer Donna McKechnie returns to TheatreZone in Naples, cast as Marmee in Little Women: The Broadway Musical, announced artistic director Mark Danni. Based on Louisa May Alcott's classic novel, the musical follows the adventures of the four remarkable March sisters coming of age during the American Civil War era.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, and The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space at WNYC and WQXR, announce the second event in the series TCG Playwrights in Conversation: Discussions and Readings.

The Show Goes On Productions presents Ghost Dancer, a world premiere political drama written by Robert L. Hecker. Joshua A. Kashinsky directs a cast of seven including Reza Salazar* (TV: Louie, Law & Order: CI, Film: See Girl Run - 2012), Leajato Amara Robinson*, Jorge Acosta* (TV: 30 Rock), Luis Salgado* (In The Heights, Women on the Verge...), Lilia Vassileva*, Rosie Lani Fiedelman* (In The Heights), and Arturo Castro* (TV: We Are New York).

New Jersey Theatre Alliance, the service organization for the state's professional theatres, celebrated their 30th Anniversary at the October 27 Ovation Gala at the Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange.

Upcoming Theatre Communication Group Member Shows - 11/27 for New Jersey

TimeLine Theatre Company has announced the addition of nine new Associate Artists - Will Allan, William Brown, Aaron Carter, Andrew Carter, John Culbert, Mildred Marie Langford, Mechelle Moe, Ann Wakefield and Alex Weisman.

On November 7th more than 150 theatre artists and patrons attended the 2011 Castillo Theatre Gala Benefit at the All Stars Project's performing arts and development center, 543 West 42nd Street. The gala, which raised a record $77,000 for Castillo and its youth theatre training program, Youth Onstage!, paid tribute to four influential women of the theatre: Carmen de Lavallade, Gabrielle L. Kurlander, Judith Malina and Daphne Rubin-Vega.
