TheaterToGo is pleased to announce an exciting winter season of shows to appeal to a variety of tastes.

Roundabout Theatre Company presents a new Off-Broadway production of Stephen Sondheim & James Lapine's Tony Award-winning Into the Woods. Directed by Noah Brody and Ben Steinfeld, this production premiered in May 2013 at the McCarter Theatre in association with the Fiasco Theater. Into the Woods began preview performances December 18, 2014 and officially opens on January 22, 2015 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). This is a limited engagement thru March 22, 2015. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre is pleased to announce the cast and creative team for Abundance, the 1990 play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Beth Henley (Crimes of the Heart). An epic tale of friendship set against the backdrop of the sweeping American West, Abundance will be directed by TACT Co-Artistic Director Jenn Thompson, who directed last season's production of William Inge's Natural Affection. Performances begin at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. Opening night is set forSunday, March 1 at 6:00pm. Performances will continue through March 28, 2015.

Philadelphia Theatre Company's continues its 40th Anniversary season with the Tony Award-nominated play Mothers and Sons by Terrence McNally February 6-March 8. Directed by Wendy Goldberg, the cast features Hugh Kennedy, Emmy Award-winning actress Michael Learned, James Lloyd Reynolds, and Patrick Gibbons and Jacob D. Wilner in alternating performances.

The Dramatists Guild Fund awards $170,000 to theaters across the country. As a part of its mission to support writers, the Dramatists Guild Fund provides grants to non-profit theaters and theatrical institutions across the country that develop and/or produce contemporary American plays and musicals.

Long Wharf Theatre, led by Artistic Director Gordon Edelstein and Managing Director Joshua Borenstein, presents Forever, written and performed by Dael Orlandersmith, from January 2 through February 1, 2015 on Stage II. The press opening is Wednesday, January 7 at 7:30 pm.
