The Public Theater announced today that Stacey Sargeant will join the cast of ECLIPSED as "Helena" beginning Tuesday, November 3.

City Theatre continues its season with the Pittsburgh premiere of Sunset Baby in the Hamburg Studio, November 7 - December 13, 2015. The play is written by Dominique Morisseau and is directed by Jade King Carroll.

Act II Playhouse in Ambler presents Ken Ludwig's The Fox on the Fairway, a zany comedy from the author of Lend Me a Tenor, on stage from tonight, Oct. 27 to Nov. 22.

Wild and wacky fun, just in time for the holidays, is onstage when Philadelphia Theatre Company presents the hilarious McCarter Theatre/Arena Stage production of Ken Ludwig's Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery running November 27-December 27 at PTC's home, the Suzanne Roberts Theatre (Broad and Lombard Streets). Directed by Amanda Dehnert, the ensemble cast features Henry Clarke, Crystal Finn, Adam Green, Ron Menzel, and Matt Zambrano.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for the American theatre, has assembled 25 U.S. theatre leaders to attend the 16th Festival de Teatro de La Habana, October 20-26, 2015 in Havana, Cuba.

The Old Globe today shared its 2016 Summer Season, which will feature new and familiar works directed by four major American stalwarts. The season features the welcome return of Steve Martin (Bright Star) with the World Premiere of his new play Meteor Shower, an adult comedy, directed by Gordon Edelstein, in a co-production with Long Wharf Theatre, where he serves as Artistic Director. Paul Gordon's musical Sense and Sensibility will have its West Coast premiere, presented in association with Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where it had its world premiere in February 2015, directed by CST Artistic Director Barbara Gaines. The Summer Shakespeare Festival will include Macbeth, directed by Brian Kulick, Artistic Director of Classic Stage Company, and Love's Labor's Lost, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall.

American Repertory Ballet's 2015 Nutcracker Season will run November 21 through December 20 at venues across New Jersey: Union County Performing Arts Center in Rahway, McCarter Theatre in Princeton, Patriots Theater at the War Memorial in Trenton, Algonquin Arts Theatre in Manasquan, and State Theatre in New Brunswick. ARB's Nutcracker is a holiday classic featuring Tchaikovsky's score and a cast of over 100 performers, featuring the professional, international dancers of American Repertory Ballet and select students from Princeton Ballet School, the official school of ARB. A holiday tradition since 1964, ARB's is the longest-running Nutcracker production in New Jersey and one of the longest consecutively-running in the United States.  

As the days grow shorter and lower temperatures bring a nip to the air, Hedgerow Theatre's annual autumn thriller will also deliver chills up the spine as it present the classic Dracula from tonight, October 22 through November 22.

On Your Way Productions is pleased to present a first look at the Off-Broadway premiere of Margaret Dulaney's THE HUMMINGBIRD'S TOUR, directed by John Augustine. The limited engagement is currently in previews and continues through Sunday, November 22th, 2015. Official opening night is Monday, October 26th at 7:00 pm. Douglas scaled great heights on behalf of the individual and the natural environment.  Bristol Riverside Theatre continues its Mainstage Season with Mountain: The Journey of Justice Douglas by Douglas Scott about this judicial giant running November 3-22.  Directed by Susan D. Atkinson, the cast features Keith Baker as Douglas with Kenneth Boys and Sandy York playing multiple supporting characters.

Annapolis Shakespeare Company announces a special Press Night for Shakespeare's 'AS YOU LIKE IT' on Saturday, the 17th at 8:00 p.m. The performance will be followed by a VIP reception at 49 West Coffeehouse and Wine Bar with the Director, Cast and Design Team. 

Northlight Theatre, under the direction of Artistic Director BJ Jones and Executive Director Timothy J. Evans, announces the World Premiere of CHARM by Philip Dawkins. Directed by BJ Jones, CHARM was developed through Northlight's Interplay Series and will be presented in Steppenwolf's Garage Theatre, 1624 N. Halsted, from tonight, October 14, through November 8, 2015.

Complete casting has been announced for the opening production of Passage Theatre's 30th anniversary season, Song for the Disappeared, a world premiere by Tanya Saracho. Directed by Alex Correia, the production will play Trenton's The Mill Hill Playhouse through October 25.
