Alleyway Theatre in Buffalo's Historic Theatre District will present BUFFALO QUICKIES the 19th annual festival of new one-act plays, March 4-20, 2010.

Theatre Plus' world premiere of Sweet Tooth by Mark Wild, will close on February 20, 2010. The new comedy was selected as one of only three Finalists in the 2008 Maxim Mazumdar New Play Competition and will be directed by Lorna C. Hill. The show will play at Alleyway Theatre in Buffalo's Historic Theatre District. Sweet Tooth is the third production of Theatre Plus' fourteenth season dedicated to presenting theatre that focuses on the talents and interests of women.

With a script by playwright and KPCC journalist Kitty Felde, an original score and songs by indie musician Ego Plum, and Rogue Artists Ensemble's signature mix of live actors, puppetry, masks and digital projection, three of Nikolai Gogol's most famous short stories - Diary of a Madman, The Overcoat and The Nose - will come to 'Hyper-theatrical ' life this fall. Directed by Sean T. Cawelti, Gogol Project will open at the Bootleg Theater on September 25. Two low-priced previews take place September 19 and 20.
