A friendly reminder that Ring Twice for Miranda, a new play written by Alan Hruska (Laugh It Up, Stare It Down; The Man on Her Mind; New House under Construction) and directed by Rick Lombardo (San Jose Rep Artistic Director from 2008-2014, The Snow Queen, Bill W. and Dr. Bob) will officially open this Sunday, February 12th at 6:30pm at New York City Center Stage II.

Ring Twice for Miranda, a new play written by Alan Hruska (Laugh It Up, Stare It Down; The Man on Her Mind; New House under Construction) and directed by Rick Lombardo (San Jose Rep Artistic Director from 2008-2014, The Snow Queen, Bill W. and Dr. Bob) is currently in previews at New York City Center Stage II (131 West 55th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues) and officially opens on February 12th. TACT has announced that the 2016 - '17 season will continue with the World Premiere of The Gravedigger's Lullaby, a play that arrives on the Mainstage by way of the company's 2015 newTACTics New Play Festival where it was workshopped and developed.

 Center Stage is pleased to announce the cast and artistic team for Les Liaisons Dangereuses, its first production of the 2016/17 Season.

LA Opera's 2016/17 season will open with Giuseppe Verdi's Macbeth, opening on September 17, 2016. General Director Placido Domingo will perform the title role for the first time in the United States. The new production will be conducted by Music Director James Conlon and staged by Tony Award-winning director Darko Tresnjak.

Hale Centre Theatre's production of BIG RIVER in West Valley is joyous and tender, with a literal rush of water that amazes. If you're a fan of Huck Finn's story and have never experienced this musical retelling, this BIG RIVER is worth taking a raft ride down.

What a difference a day makes in Samuel D. Hunter's play, Lewiston, which is having its world premiere at the Long Wharf Theatre.

Westport Country Playhouse will open its 2016 Season with two Tony Award-winning plays staged in repertory, "Art" and "Red," with each play alternating daily, from May 3 through May 29.  "Art" by Yasmina Reza, translated by Christopher Hampton, and "Red" by John Logan, will be directed by Mark Lamos, Playhouse artistic director.  Each of the plays is about art:  making it, owning it, the anguish of creating it, and the ache of believing in it.  

The Ford's Theatre 2015-2016 season continues with the musical 110 IN THE SHADE, directed and choreographed by Tony-Award nominee Marcia Milgrom Dodge, now through May 14, 2016. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast onstage below!

A gem of a musical written by The Fantasticks team of Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones with libretto by N. Richard Nash (using his own play The Rainmaker as basis) is about a con man coming into town to 'sell' rain to a drought-stricken, Depression-era Texas town, but winds up creating a miracle along the way. Schmidt and Jones' score is far superior to their tour-de-force The Fantasticks, while Nash's libretto is bit on the sugary side yet it is still a beautiful tale of miracles happening in the most unlikely of places.

Long Wharf Theatre will present the world premiere of Lewiston, by Samuel D. Hunter and directed by Eric Ting from April 6 through May 1 on Stage II. Tickets are $26 to $85.

Hartford Stage presents William Shakespeare's most popular play, ROMEO & JULIET, directed by Hartford Stage Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak, who previously helmed the critically acclaimed productions of HAMLET, MACBETH, TWELFTH NIGHT and THE TEMPEST. The tragic romance will play from February 11 through March 20 only.
