Matthew Morrison comments on FINDING NEVERLAND's lack of Tony nominations!

Today, Deadline shares a reaction from Mr. Weinstein on the news that his show was not recognized by the nominating committe:

Theater fans are eagerly awaiting tomorrow's announcement of this year's Tony Award nominees, and a Finding Neverland campaign is already in the works. Variety has shared an excerpt of an op-ed letter written by Peter Pan expert Maria Tatar, professor of Germanic languages and literatures and folklore and mythology at Harvard University, which was sent out to the nominators of Broadway's most distinguished awards. According to the site, Weinstein is hoping to 'bolster the critical credibility' of his show, which recently opened to mixed reviews.

The 29th Annual Easter Bonnet Competition (#bwaybonnets) raised a remarkable $4,711,386, making this the third year in a row the event set a new fundraising record. First place went to the cast of AVENUE Q who performed a parody of 'Circle of Life,' proclaiming they just wanted to beat THE LION KING cast. Check out the hilarious video below!

FINDING NEVERLAND producer Harvey Weinstein and O&M Public Relations Company press agent Rick Miramontez parted ways in January under less-than-civil circumstances. But now Deadline reveals that Miramontez is back with the musical's team, ready to promote happy thoughts with the best of them.

Broadway's leading man, Matthew Morrison, star of the hit show Finding Neverland, will sing the national anthem at the final game of the first leg of the 2015 Subway Series on Sunday, April 26 at 8pm at Yankee Stadium. New York's hottest MLB event of the year, Subway Series is an annual six-game face-off between the Yankees and the Mets, and will be broadcast live on ESPN.
