Artistic Director Blake Robison will open his first season at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park with the action packed adventure of Ken Ludwig's THE THREE MUSKETEERS. This rousing story of heroism, treachery and honor begins previews in the Playhouse's Robert S. Marx Theatre tonight, Sept. 1 and continues through Sept. 29.

Adam Shankman's ROCK OF AGES, which opened last weekend, brought in an additional $8 million in its second weekend, according to Boxofficemojo. As Broadwayworld previously reported, the musical earned $14.4 million in its opening weekend, and a total of $28,763,000. The movie took fifth place (behind Brave, Madagascar 3, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Prometheus), having the sixth-highest opening ever for a musical.

The Off Broadway production of Standing On Ceremony kicked off its open-ended run last night, November 7, and featured an introduction from Evan Wolfson, Founder and President of Freedom to Marry.
