Leviathan Lab (Artistic Director, Flordelino Lagundino) announces casting of TRIGGER, a new play by New Dramatists playwright Sam Chanse. TRIGGER runs at IATI Theatre (64 East 4th Street) from Friday, February 23 through Sunday, March 11, 2018.

British playwright Torben Betts arrives from across the pond to attend a performance of his play Muswell Hill, which is enjoying its New York Premiere in a co-production between The Barrow Group Theatre Company (Seth Barrish and Lee Brock, Co-Artistic Directors; Robert Serrell, Executive Director), and The Pond Theatre Company at The TBG Theatre (312 West 36th Street), and to take part in two special surround events related to the production.

Directed by Shannon Patterson, the six-member cast features Jason Alan Carvell (War Horse), as Mat, Colleen Clinton (Proof) as Jess, Lily Dorment (Abigail's Party) as Karen, Richard Hollis (The Curious Incident of the Dog in The Night-Time) as Simon, John Pirkis ('Blue Bloods') as Tony, and Sarah Street (Abigail's Party) as Annie. New Feet Productions presents ARDEN/EVERYWHERE, co-presented with Baruch Performing Arts Center (BPAC). This adaptation of Shakespeare's As You Like It is conceived and directed by Jessica Bauman. At the start, he's basking in his glory as a prosperous master of the universe, happily dispersing his gold; in the end he's alone, torn down, penniless emotionally, at the mercy of gods, or fate, or something quite different than the riches that once defined him.

Folger Theatre concludes its very successful 25th anniversary season this spring with Shakespeare's gripping tragedy Timon of Athens. Directed by Robert Richmond (Othello, Henry V, Richard III), this rarely produced satire examining wealth, false friendships, and the abuse of generosity features Helen Hayes Award-winner Ian Merrill Peakes (Macbeth, Othello, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead) in the title role.
