An all-singing, all-dancing old school musical that will delight fans of all ages.

Fresh from a fifteen month UK tour Birmingham Stage Company today announces a London run for David Walliams' Awful Auntie - opening the Bloomsbury Theatre following the venue's major renovation. Adapted and directed by Neal Foster the production opens on 12 December and runs until 5 January.

From the raucous dual imaginations of fantasy laureate Neil Gaiman ('American Gods,' CORALINE) and glamrock multi-hyphenate John Cameron Mitchell (HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, SHORTBUS) comes the electrifying and singular pop extravaganza film, HOW TO TALK TO GIRLS AT PARTIES.

The full company has been confirmed for Chichester Festival Theatre's summer musical ME AND MY GIRL, directed by Daniel Evans and running from 2 July - 25 August (press night: 9 July).

Birmingham Stage Company today announces the return of their smash-hit adaptation of David Walliams's bestselling book, Gangsta Granny, to the West End. The Olivier Award and UK Theatre Award nominated production opens at the Harold Pinter Theatre for a limited two week run, opening on 16 August, with previews from 14 August, and running until 26 August. Tickets go on sale today via ATG pre-sale and general on-sale on 3 May.

Ashley Blaker, the UK's only strictly orthodox Jewish stand-up comedian will be taking his hilarious new show ASHLEY BLAKER: STRICTLY UNORTHODOX (the firstever stand-up show about life as a charedi / strictly orthodox Jew) to the United States this Spring, making his Off Broadway debut May 27 - June 28 in the Jerry Orbach Theater at the Theater Center, 1627 Broadway.

Further casting is announced today for Festival 2018 at Chichester Festival Theatre. Clive Rowe joins Matt Lucas, Caroline Quentin and Alex Young to lead the cast of the musical ME AND MY GIRL, which Daniel Evans directs at the Festival Theatre from 2 July - 25 August. Clive will play Sir John Tremayne, returning to Chichester following his appearance in Kiss Me Kate in 2012 which later transferred to The Old Vic.

Further lead casting is announced today for Festival 2018 at Chichester Festival Theatre. Matt Lucas makes his Chichester debut as Bill Snibson, the Cockney barrow boy who discovers he's an Earl, in Daniel Evans's new production of ME AND MY GIRL. Tracy-Ann Oberman returns to the Festival Theatre as Monica in Noel Coward's PRESENT LAUGHTER; while Patricia Hodge also makes a welcome return as Margrethe Bohr in Michael Frayn's Copenhagen. Public booking for all Festival productions opens this Saturday, 3 March.

Netflix and Constantin Film announce the start of production of Polar, a Constantin Film/Bolt Pictures co-production, in association with Dark Horse Entertainment. Polar is based on the Dark Horse action noir graphic novel Polar: Came From the Cold by Victor Santos. 

Hot on the heels of last week's celebrity recordings announcement, more stars have jumped on board to perform their own versions of songs from the West End's newest British musical, The Grinning Man. Sonia Friedman Productions has just announced that Pearl Mackie will join the cast of a new production of Harold Pinter's The Birthday Party, in her first role since playing 'Bill Potts', the Doctor's companion, in the latest series of the BBC's Doctor Who.

Announced today, BBC AMERICA returns to San Diego Comic-Con's Hall H for the final Doctor Who panel with star Peter Capaldi and the first-ever panel in the famed venue for Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency on Sunday, July 23 at 1:00 and 2:00pm.

Talks and events relating to Angels in America will begin with writer Tony Kushner, who will discuss the plays and his work in conversation with Ola Animashawun on 30 June. Andrew Garfield, who plays Prior Walter, and Denise Gough, who plays Harper Pitt, will then discuss their experiences of performing in the show in a talk chaired by Kate Bassett as well as award-winning director Marianne Elliot who will reflect on directing the show in conversation with Susannah Clapp, both on 3 July.
