The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) will kick off the fourth season ofPUBLIC FORUM with the new series Drama Club, a book club for plays that will feature one-night-only readings and discussions of works by Kia Corthron, Tony Kushner, and Thornton Wilder at Joe's Pub. Curated by Jeremy McCarter, the popular PUBLIC FORUM series presents the theater of ideas: conversations and performances with leading voices in politics, media, and the arts.

According to Birdland's website, Broadway veteran Cheyenne Jackson will be making his debut at the venue with his brand new show, featuring songs from his new album, 'I'm Blue Skies', as well as classics from his acclaimed one-man show 'Music of the Mad Men Era,' which sold out at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. FOX Broadcasting Company (FOX) has given a pilot production commitment to The Middle MAN, a new drama produced by FOX and Pearl Street Films, and executive-produced by Academy Award winner Ben Affleck ('Argo,' 'The Town') and Emmy Award nominee Glenn Gordon Caron ('Medium,' 'Moonlighting'), who wrote the pilot script. Affleck ('Argo,' 'The Town,' 'Gone Baby Gone') is attached to direct the pilot. Pearl Street Films' Chay Carter ('Argo,' 'The Town,' 'Gone Baby Gone') will also serve as an executive producer on the project. Production is scheduled to begin in early 2014.
