Monday night, for two astonishing SOLD OUT performances, Joe's Pub became the backdrop for BroadwayWorld.com's 10th Anniversary celebration. The show conceived by Robert Diamond and Richard Jay-Alexander boasted talent from Broadway and beyond.

As rehearsals and plans are in full swing, for Monday night's sold out performances at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater of BROADWAYWORLD.COM VISITS OZ, Robert Diamond and BWW staffers want to do some 'shout outs'.

Broadway Basics is recruiting undergraduates for their Stage Management Workshop- a one day intensive on January 6, 2014 from 10am-3pm. Upon attending the workshop, students will learn first-hand about what it takes on put on a Broadway show from pre-production through strike, networking and resume writing, and more! The enrollment deadline is December 9.

Upon attending the workshop, students will be able to spend the day in NYC, the theater capital of the world, and learn first hand what it takes to put on a Bradway show all the way from pre-production through strike.

This one day intensive will be held on October 14, 2013 from 10am-3pm at the Pearl Studios and will feature professional Broadway stage managers. Upon attending the workshop, you will be able to spend the day in NYC, the theater capital of the world, you will be able to learn first hand what it takes to put on a Bradway show all the way from pre-production through strike, and you will learn about networking and resume writing. In addition to all of this, you will also walk away with an energized understanding about the production side of theater and gain insight as to whether stage management is right for you.

BroadwayWorld.com is very excited to announce that we will be returning to Joe's Pub at the Public Theater in 2014, kicking off a year-long celebration of the community and our 10th anniversary with regularly scheduled concerts, live streams and special events in a BIG way. The concert series will launch on January 20, 2014 with BROADWAYWORLD VISITS OZ, directed by Richard Jay-Alexander and with music direction by Mary-Mitchell Campbell. Following BroadwayWorld's Student Center Classroom two-part series 'Behind the Scenes at Wicked' with Marybeth Abel, the production stage manager wrote to BWW to tell us that it had drawn 'quite the following of enthusiastic kids'. In response, Abel and her colleague at Wicked Christy Ney will now be offering a Stage Management One Day Intensive today, August 4th, 2013.

It was theatre magic at its best: rain lightly came down on closing night as the entire cast of LES MISERABLES at The Muny belted out 'The Epilogue' one more time. The audience lept to their feet as the final notes hung in the air. All week long, The Muny experienced a complete standing ovation before the curtain call began, something that Muny goers said hasn't happened in at least 35 years. The cast of LES MISERABLES experienced the audience's appreciation all week long and their final performance was no exception.

Do You Hear the People Sing? Lucky audiences will tonight at The Muny in St. Louis as their highly anticipated production of LES MISERABLES opens this evening!

The Muny announced principal casting for the fifth show of its fantastic 95th season, Les Miserables. Broadway veterans Hugh Panaro and Norm Lewis make their Muny debuts starring as Jean Valjean and Javert, respectively. Also starring is Michael McCormick as Thenardier. The production is directed by Richard Jay-Alexander, who served as the associate director and executive producer of the original Broadway, touring and Canadian companies of Les Miserables.

Before joining the WICKED family. Marybeth's other Broadway credits include: Cyrano de Bergerac, Sweet Charity, La Cage aux Folles, Sly Fox, Fosse, Les Misérables, Five Guys Named Moe. Off-Broadway she's worked on Under the Bridge, Adult Entertainment. Touring and regionally, she's worked on Cats, Guys and Dolls, The Best of Broadway. Pittsburgh CLO: four seasons.
