Carnegie Hall today announced the complete cast for its gala benefit performance of The Sound of Music on Tuesday, April 24 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage. New to the cast are Mary Michael Patterson (Anything Goes) as Liesl von Trapp, Nick Spangler (The Book of Mormon) as Rolf Gruber, Cotter Smith (Next Fall) as Herr Zeller, Drama Desk and Obie Award recipient Reed Birney as Admiral von Schreiber, and Joel Hatch (Billy Elliot) as Franz, The Butler.
ANYTHING GOES Cast to Perform on ROSIE SHOW Tonight

The cast of Roundabout Theatre Company's Anything Goes is set to perform tonight on 'The Rosie Show.' Tony Award winner Sutton Foster and Tony and Academy Award winner Joel Grey will stop by for a special performance on this evenings show; which airs at 7pm on OWN.

Stephanie J. Block, who has been filling in for Sutton Foster in ANYTHING GOES, has officially departed the production. Foster, who was filming the television pilot, Bunheads for the past 3 weeks, returned as Reno Sweeney on November 25.

On September 27, Roundabout Theatre Company celebrated their new cast album with an in-store performance and CD signing. Director Kathleen Marshall was on hand to introducer performers and stars Sutton Foster, Joel Grey, Colin Donnell, Adam Godley and Laura Osnes, who performed classics from the show and greet fans. As previously reported, Roundabout Theatre Company recently announced a new block of tickets now on-sale through April 29th, 2012 for their Tony-winning production of Anything Goes. It was originally scheduled to run through Sunday, July 31st, 2011. The production currently stars 2011 Tony Award winner Sutton Foster as 'Reno Sweeney' and Tony and Academy Award winner Joel Grey as 'Moonface Martin,' and is directed and choreographed by 2011 Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall. September 23, 2010 Capital Stage prepares for its sixth season with the opening of the Sacramento Premiere of Theresa Rebeck's Mauritius (maw-rish-uhs). The sixth season will also mark Capital Stage's final season performing on board the Riverboat Delta King. The company recently announced plans for a move to midtown in the Spring of 2011.

Capital Stage announces a first-rate cast for Mauritius (maw-rish-uhs), the first show of its 2010-11 'Season of Premieres.' Capital Stage co-founder and artistic associate Jonathan Rhys Williams (Hunter Gatherers, American Buffalo) as Sterling, leads the stellar cast that includes B Street Theatre veterans Kurt Johnson (Dennis) and John Lamb (Phillip) along with Sacramento actress Kristine David (Jackie) and bay area actress, Lauren Bloom (Mary). Michael Stevenson (Erratica: An Academic Farce, Les Liaisons Dangereuses) will direct.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival and La Vie Productions proudly present Sherlock Holmes (The Early Years), a new musical comedy with music by Jared M. Dembowski, lyrics by Susannah Pearse and a book by Kate Ferguson and Robert Hudson. Sherlock Holmes (The Early Years) is directed by Nona Lloyd, has music supervision by Aaron Gandy.
