Roundabout Theatre Company in association with Don Gregory, announced that Jim Parsons (Elwood P. Dowd), Jessica Hecht (Veta Louise Simmons) and Charles Kimbrough (William R. Chumley, M.D.) starring in a new Broadway production of the Pulitzer Prize winning comedy Harvey by Mary Chase and directed by Scott Ellis.

Mary McDonough, who may be best known for the role of Erin Walton that she created and played for over a decade on the hits series 'The Waltons,' has penned a memoir, which is the winner of the Ella Dickey Literacy Award, entitled of Lessons From the Mountain: What I Learned From Erin Walton (Kensington Publishers). McDonough has taken her book on the road, signing and speaking in various venues. She appeared at the Barnes & Noble at 2289 Broadway in New York City yesterday. View photos from the event below!

One of television's royal families gathered this weekend, to celebrate one of their own. 'I can't believe they are all here!' declared a voice from the audience in response to seeing eight cast members from the hit series 'The Waltons' up in front of fans on Saturday afternoon in Los Angeles. Michael Learned (Olivia Walton/Momma) wasn't surprised at all saying, 'Mary has always been the one to instigate gatherings. Sometimes, she calls and says, 'OK it's about time we got together.'

When asked about being the first of the Walton's cast to release a memoir (Lessons From the Mountain: What I Learned From Erin Walton), Mary declares, 'The decision to write didn't come easily for several reasons. When people ask me why we haven't written a book about The Waltons, I joke that if anyone did and told the whole truth, the rest of us would get together and kill them. So, if I disappear soon after this book is published, consider The Waltons family members key suspects.'
