Prior to his role as 'Blaine Anderson' on 'Glee,' Darren Criss was best-known for playing 'Harry Potter' in Team StarKid's A Very Potter Musical and Sequel, for which he contributed to the musical scores. He also conceptualized the story and provided the music and lyrics for Team StarKid's recent musical, Starship, and if he get's his way, we might see it soon on the Great White Way. Criss just told the New York Times that he'd love to bring one of his StarKid shows to Broadway in the next five years.

Now, Michael Riedel reports in the New York Post that the show is on the 'fast track' to Broadway, aiming for the 2012-13 season. The $10 million dollar production is to be directed by Gary Griffin (The Color Purple) and heading up the producing team is Dena Hammerstein.

According to the NY Times, a reading has held last week in New York for Jason Robert Brown's stage adaptation of Honeymoon in Vegas, which has been in the works since 2007. Producers are looking to bring a fully staged production to New York in the near future.
