Broadway at W Times Square continues to wow audiences and hotel guests with their newly hit concert series featuring Broadway cast members and their respective shows accompanied by acoustic guitar and cajon. On Sunday, Feb. 19th cast members from blockbuster shows Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812 and the 1st national tour of Hamilton shared their amazing talents in the raw, up close and intimate setting of W Times Square Hotel.  Special guest host was Hamilton's, and newly announced Josh Groban successor, Okieriete Onaodowan. ???????The Marvelous Wonderettes is thrilled to welcome its original "Wonderstudy", Laura Woyasz, back to the production.  Woyasz will be taking on the role of Missy Miller full time replacing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory bound Kristy Cates.  Woyasz was last seen in the tour of Cheers Live on Stage as well as the Broadway company of Wicked as Glinda.

Retreat to Broadway, a national non-profit project that pairs innovative programming with live theater, is launching their first national arts education initiative and they're focusing on the Tony Award winning musical HAIRSPRAY. Not only does Retreat to Broadway want to help increase viewership for NBC's national telecast of HAIRSPRAY LIVE! on December 7, but they also want to provide a unique framework to discuss the important themes HAIRSPRAY presents its audiences: celebrating differences, cultural diversity, bullying, body shaming, conflict resolution, acceptance of self and others, etc.

There's no easy way to talk about a performance ostensibly thrown in honor of a presidential candidate who didn't end up winning. Let's be clear: Randy Rainbow's ELECTION EVE PARTY held on Monday, night at Birdland wasn't exactly a non-partisan event. The performers dropped more 'I'm With Her' references than at an actual Clinton rally, and the party likely could've sustained itself on Rainbow's viral parodies alone.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was over the moon to present internet sensation Randy Rainbow with his Election Eve Party at the historic music room on Monday night. At the Wednesday, Sept 22nd matinee of The Marvelous Wonderettes, producers Tom and Michael D'Angora will be celebrating the show's 100th performance by welcoming Kristy Cates to the company!  Cates is joining the production in the role of Missy Miller who belts out 'You Don't Own Me', 'Wedding Bell Blues', and 'Mr. Lee' among other classic 50's and 60's pop hits.
