Production begins in Connecticut this week on an untitled contemporary comedy directed by Academy Award winner Sam Mendes (American Beauty) from an original screenplay by Dave Eggers and Vendela Vida. The film is being produced and co-financed by Big Beach, with Focus Features co-financing and distributing worldwide.

An Evening of Unexpected Musical Adaptations,' will be hosted by Academy Award winner F. Northlight Theatre's 2008-09 Season includes the Chicago Premieres of: The Tony Award-winning musical 'Grey Gardens'; Theresa Rebeck's 'Mauritius'; Martin McDonagh's 'The Lieutenant of Inishmore'; Jeffrey Hatcher's 'Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde'; and the World Premiere Of Kenneth Lin's 'Po' Boy Tango'.

The season concludes with David Henry Hwang's Berkeley Rep debut, Yellow Face.

Signature Theatre, today announced the 2008-2009 season, which runs from August 26, 2008 through May 31, 2009 and features five productions as well as the special concert presentation

Polly Stenham's multi award-winning play That Face, which was produced at the Royal Court Theatre to great critical acclaim last year, is to transfer to the Duke of York's Theatre previewing from May 1, with press night on May 9 and is booking until July 5, 2008. Hannah Murray, very well known to young audiences for her leading role in Channel 4's award-winning Skins, joins a previously announced cast including Lindsay Duncan and Matt Smith.

Tony Award-winner Victoria Clark will be joined by Conrad John Schuck, Dermot Crowley, Celia Keenan-Bolger and Michael Arden in Marc Blitzstein and Joseph Stein's Juno, the second Encores! production of New York City Center's 2008 season, performances are March 27-30.

Adapted by Stephen Mallatratt from the novel by Susan Hill, Woman in Black is directed by Robin Herford with design by Michael Holt and lighting by Kevin Sleep. Los Angeles theatre veteran and three-time Tony nominated Broadway producer Susan Dietz joins Reprise! Broadway's Best as its producing director. She will work alongside artistic director Jason Alexander and succeeds Jim Gardia, who moves to the Northern California, having served Reprise! for the past six years. Danny Feldman continues as Managing Director.
