ALL THE WAY with Bryan Cranston Begins Performances on Broadway Today

All the Way, the new play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan, starring BREAKING BAD's Bryan Cranston, begins previews on Broadway today, Monday, February 10, 2014 at the Neil Simon Theatre. The production officially opens on Thursday, March 6, 2014 for a strictly limited engagement. The play is directed by Bill Rauch, Artistic Director of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, where All the Way began its theatrical life.

Milwaukee Youth Symphony Presents RHYTHMIC REVOLUTION Today

Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra presents 'Rhythmic Revolution,' today, February 8, 3:00 p.m., at the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center, 325 W. Walnut St., Milwaukee. It will feature a performance by the Bronzeville Jazz Quartet, the organization's premier jazz combo--a part of MYSO's Jazz Studies program--and two steel pan bands,Calypso and Soca. Due to the popularity of MYSO's Calypso steel pan ensemble, a second level of steel pan instruction, Soca, was added to MYSO's extensive list of programs in fall 2013.

Fans of Denver's renowned Cleo Parker Robinson Dance performances are in for a special blend of nostalgia and modern dance with this year's 'CLEO ON CLEO: Voices of Yesterday and Tomorrow.' Audiences will enjoy tributes to the late South African president Nelson Mandela and American civil rights icon Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., as well as classic works including one created in collaboration with the celebrated American poet Dr. Maya Angelou.

A feisty and attractive maid arrives with coffee and turns out to be much more than she appears, prompting him to confront his life, his legacy, and the future of his country. Playwright Katori Hall invites us to take a closer look at the man behind the myth: a flesh and blood human, who, despite his flaws and spiritual fatigue, worked tirelessly to achieve the dream of liberty and justice for all. Come join us on the journey to The Mountaintop.

James T. Alfred and Erika LaVonn to Star in Penumbra's THE MOUNTAINTOP at the Guthrie; Cast Announced!

On the heels of successful presentations of A Raisin in the Sun, Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and The Amen Corner, the Guthrie Theater welcomes the return of the acclaimed Penumbra Theatre Company with The Mountaintop - the recipient of the 2010 Olivier Award for Best New Play - written by Katori Hall and directed by Penumbra Founder and Co-Artistic Director Lou Bellamy. The Mountaintop begins performances on March 28 and continues through April 19.

RIVERS by Tim Rollins and K.O.S. to Open 2/1 at SCAD Museum of Art

Lehmann Maupin has announced RIVERS, an exhibition of collaborative paintings by the Bronx, New York-based artists Tim Rollins and K.O.S. (Kids of Survival) at the SCAD Museum of Art opening February 1, 2014. Founded by Rollins more than 30 years ago, the K.O.S. group has created paintings inspired by classic works of literature and music that can be found in the permanent collections of more than 95 museums worldwide.
