All the Way, the new play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan, starring BREAKING BAD's Bryan Cranston, begins previews on Broadway today, Monday, February 10, 2014 at the Neil Simon Theatre. The production officially opens on Thursday, March 6, 2014 for a strictly limited engagement. The play is directed by Bill Rauch, Artistic Director of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, where All the Way began its theatrical life.

It will feature a performance by the Bronzeville Jazz Quartet, the organization's premier jazz combo--a part of MYSO's Jazz Studies program--and two steel pan bands,Calypso and Soca. Due to the popularity of MYSO's Calypso steel pan ensemble, a second level of steel pan instruction, Soca, was added to MYSO's extensive list of programs in fall 2013.

On the heels of successful presentations of A Raisin in the Sun, Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and The Amen Corner, the Guthrie Theater welcomes the return of the acclaimed Penumbra Theatre Company with The Mountaintop - the recipient of the 2010 Olivier Award for Best New Play - written by Katori Hall and directed by Penumbra Founder and Co-Artistic Director Lou Bellamy.
