Harrah's Las Vegas comes alive tonight as MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET celebrates its grand opening. The smash-hit production is inspired by the extraordinary true story of the fateful evening that brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together for one of the greatest rock 'n' roll jam sessions in history.

The party has already started in celebration of Million Dollar Quartet, the latest Broadway import to open in a permanent home in Las Vegas. And, I must note that it seems it'll be a party well worth attending.

This year, for the first time, theatre lovers in Washington and around the world were able to watch the nomination announcements live via webcast at theatrewashington.org, Facebook, or on the Livestream. Martin Kaye has been performing since he could talk. He remembers spending time with his aunt and uncle at the theater and on the stage. His father taught him how to play the piano and his passion has always been music. Martin has been traveling all across the United States playing Jerry Lee Lewis in MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET and recently moved to the Vegas production where he continues to play the role. He brings energy and enthusiasm to the role and he also brings his new bride with him as well. Martin shared his experiences of being on the road with MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET and then his transition to the Vegas stage.

After a nationwide search, full casting has been announced for the Las Vegas production of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, which begins performances at Harrah's Las Vegas on February 4. The cast will be led by Martin Kaye as Jerry Lee Lewis, Benjamin D. Hale as Johnny Cash, Tyler Hunter as Elvis Presley and Robert Britton Lyons as Carl Perkins. The cast also features Marc Donovan as Sam Phillips, Felice Garicia as Dyanne, and musicians Jim Belk and Mikey Hachey.

The national tour of the Broadway musical Million Dollar Quartet, inspired by the electrifying true story, will make its Columbus premiere February 5-10 at the Palace Theatre (34 W. Broad St.).

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents the national tour of Million Dollar Quartet in the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater from tonight, December 18, 2012 to January 6, 2013. The Tony Award-winning Broadway musical inspired by the electrifying true story of four Rock ‘n' Roll icons is directed by Eric Schaeffer and features a book by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux. Press opening night is Thursday, December 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Put on your blue suede shoes and head down to the Durham Performing Arts Center for a fun-filled evening of rock and roll legends. Million Dollar Quartet tells of the historic night, December 4, 1956, when four legends happened to be in the recording studio at Sun Records at the same time: Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, and Johnny Cash.

Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta will welcome the Tony Award Winning Broadway musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET as part of the 2012/2013 season, playing at the Fox Theatre from March 12-17, 2013.

The national tour of the Broadway musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, inspired by the electrifying true story, will make its Philadelphia premiere Dec. 11 - 16 at the Forrest Theatre as part of the Broadway Season presented by The Kimmel Center and The Shubert Organization. The press opening is Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 7:30 pm.

FAIRWINDS Broadway Across America - Orlando announces tickets for the national tour of the Broadway musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, inspired by the electrifying true story, will go on sale Friday, September 21st at 10 am. MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET will play the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre from October 30-November 4.

Million Dollar Quartet is currently rocking The Toronto Centre for the Arts through the end of the week, and BWW had the opportunity to sit and chat with three of the four men responsible for bringing these iconic rock and roll characters to life each night. Martin Kaye (Jerry Lee Lewis), Lee Ferris (Carl Perkins) and Derek Keeling (Johnny Cash) tell us all about what it's like to portray such well known musicians, what the music means to them and why Million Dollar Quartet has something for everyone.

BWW is thrilled to bring its readers photos of the opening night performance of Million Dollar Quartet, currently playing at The Toronto Centre for the Arts. We were also on hand for the special press event they held earlier that day at the TCA, where they gave members of Toronto's press a performance and posed for photographs.
