BAAD! The Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance kicks off its fall season with the BlakTinX Performance Series from October 13 to November 18, 2017. 'Faust 3: The Turd Coming, or The Fart of the Deal' by Paul David Young, a political satire of the Trump fiasco performed by an ensemble of four clowns, will have its world premiere June 11 to 26 in The Meeting Room of Judson Memorial Church, 55 Washington Square South, presented by Skylight Productions.  Augustus Heagerty directs.

Following the record-breaking attendance of Festival 2013, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival announces the full 2014 Festival free and ticketed event schedule. Jacob's Pillow is a National Historic Landmark, home to America's longest-running dance festival, and a recipient of the National Medal of Arts. Noted dance writer Jennifer Dunning has called the Pillow "the dance center of the nation, possibly the world."

The Film Society of Lincoln Center and Dance Films Association today announced the lineup for the 41st edition of Dance on Camera. Taking place February 1-5, the dance-centric film festival returns to the Film Society for the 17th consecutive year with an exciting and diverse array of dance films, including several premieres.

The Flea Theater will bring back its highly-anticipated free dance festival, Dance Conversations, this spring. Dance Conversations 2012 will run through March 25 showcasing a series of films and works-in-progress by 36 emerging and established choreographers, dance companies, and filmmakers.
