Despite the recent cold weather outside, inside Cygnet Theatre the heat is rising with the steamy world of the Kit Kat Klub in Kander and Ebb's CABARET. Rehearsals are underway with Artistic Director Sean Murray at the helm, Billy Thompson as Music Director and David Brannen as Choreographer.

Bay Area Cabaret continues its landmark season at the historic Venetian Room with 'Vintage Rose,' the West Coast solo concert debut of Tony Award winner and A.C.T. alumna Anika Noni Rose. Direct from the Lincoln Center, where she will appear early in February as a part of its acclaimed American Songbook series, this intimate evening will feature songs made famous by Blossom Dearie, Lena Horne, and other legendary artists. 'Vintage Rose' plays one night only: 7pm Sunday, February 20, 2011 at the Venetian Room of the Fairmont San Francisco (950 Mason Street). DIETRICH & CHEVALIER: The Musical, the hit musical by Jerry Mayer, starring Robert Cuccioli, Jodi Stevens and Donald Corren, will conclude its Off-Broadway run Sunday, December 26th at St. Luke's Theatre, 308 West 46th Street (between Eighth & Ninth Ave.) DIETRICH & CHEVALIER: The Musical began performances June 5th, with the opening night on June 20th.
