FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is a musical about traditions, but Silber's way of handing her role over may be completely new.

The best of Broadway will be performing FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2016' - a lunchtime series that continued this week, July 21 on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 16th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through Thursday, August 11.

Bernardi,Mitch Greenberg, George Psomas, Jeffrey Schecter, Stephen Carrasco, Eric Chambliss, Reed Luplau, Zach McNally, Matt Moisey, Sarah Parker, Marla Phelan, Silvia Vrskova, Andrew Wojtal, Aaron Young) who performed the songs 'Matchmaker, Matchmaker,' and 'To Life.' FIDDLER ON THE ROOF has just announced that it will play its final performance on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. At the time of closing, Fiddler on the Roof will have played a total of 464 performances.

Big news for Fiddler fans! Broadway Records has just announced plans to release a New Broadway Cast Album of Fiddler on the Roof. It will have its worldwide release on March 18th and be available to purchase at The Broadway Theatre beginning March 8th.

The producers of the hit Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof announced this morning that the production will donate $2 from every full-price ticket purchased to the show for all February 2016 performances to The United Way of Genesee County's Flint Water Fund, which directly provides aid the Michigan city's residents, currently suffering from a critical drinking water contamination crisis.

The Broadway revival of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is currently in previews, with an official opening slated for Sunday, December 20 at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher, who most recently helmed the 2015 Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of The King and I. Sher has directed Burstein on Broadway in the revivals of Golden Boy and South Pacific, as well as in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. It will be choreographed byHofesh Shechter, inspired by the original choreography of Jerome Robbins, and the music director will be Ted Sperling (The King and I, South Pacific).
