New production images for MEMPHIS THE MUSICAL have been released, now featuring multi-platinum selling recording artist and songwriter Matt Cardle as radio DJ 'Huey Calhoun' and Queen of British Soul Beverley Knight as 'Felicia Farrell', the role she originated in the West End.  Check them out below!

Multi-platinum selling recording artist and songwriter Matt Cardle, who rose to fame winning the seventh series of ITVs The X Factor will join the cast of MEMPHIS THE MUSICAL in London, it is today announced. Cast and company of the award-winning 'Best Musical' at the Shaftesbury Theatre are delighted to welcome Matt who will star as radio DJ 'Huey Calhoun' from 6 July, taking over from Killian Donnelly who originated the role in the West End.

Producers of Memphis THE MUSICAL, which recently celebrated its 100th performance at the Shaftesbury Theatre, are delighted to announce that the Original London Cast Album is now available to purchase online for download. The CD will be available from 9 February at the Shaftesbury Theatre and via First Night Records.

MEMPHIS THE MUSICAL has today announced that 320,000 tickets are being put on sale as booking extends to 31st October 2015. Disney's legendary musical THE LION KING will begin performances tomorrow night (28 June) at Birmingham Hippodrome, in advance of its official opening on Thursday 4 July. This will mark the first time that Julie Taymor's internationally celebrated production will have played in the city.
