ESPN reporter Jeremy Schapp, actor Chris Elliott, Tony-Award winning composer Steven Schwartz and James Beard Award winner Gordon Hamersley are among the luminaries that will participate in the debut of the Boston Globe 2005 Arts & Entertainment Weekend GlobeTalks series on January 21-22 at the Stanford Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts.
For its 25th Anniversary Season, Performance Space 122 has re-vamped its longstanding series New Stuff to create a brand new residency program for emerging artists working in the fields dance, theater and multi-disciplinary performance. Over the course of the year, six of New York's most promising and innovative emerging artists have created new works which will culminate in repertory presentations during The New, New Stuff, April 28-May 15, 2005.
The New York Festival of Song (NYFOS) will continue its season with a program titled At Harlem's Height on Wednesday, February 23 at 8:00pm as part of Lincoln Center's American Songbook in the Rose Theatre at Jazz at Lincoln Center. The featured soloists will be soprano Dana Hanchard, tenor Darius de Haas, and baritone James Martin, with Steven Blier at the piano.
