Company XIV's Off-Broadway Season Kicks Off Next Month at Minetta Lane Theatre

 Company XIV has announced their 2015-2016 Off-Broadway season, which will include three adult only shows: the world premiere of Cinderella, a revival of their sexy hit holiday show Nutcracker Rouge, and the world premiere of Snow White, all conceived, directed and choreographed by Drama Desk Award nominee Austin McCormick.

The Chicago Dancing Festival, the nation's largest dance festival, presents its 9th annual series with George Balanchine's Allegro Brilliante (performed by Miami City Ballet in its Chicago Dancing Festival debut), Mark Morris' Sandpaper Ballet (Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, 2015 Festival debut), Justin Peck's In Creases (Chicago's The Joffrey Ballet), Gustavo Ramírez Sansano's El Beso (Ballet Hispanico, 2015 Festival debut) and Twyla Tharp's Sweet Fields (Miami City Ballet) among program highlights. This year's event will take place at Chicago's top downtown venues - the Harris Theater for Music and Dance, the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Jay Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park - this week, August 25-29, 2015.

Lincoln Center announces an artist update for this weekend's closing Mostly Mozart Festival program this weekend, August 21 and 22. Thomas Cooley will replace Andrew Staples (who was to make his Festival debut) in singing the tenor part of Haydn's The Creation with the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra at Avery Fisher Hall.

John Relyea will replace Brindley Sherratt (who was to make his Festival debut, and has to cancel for personal reasons) in singing the bass part of Haydn's The Creation with the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra at Avery Fisher Hall.

PUSH Dance Company Releases Full Schedule for PUSHfest 2015; Begins, 9/18

New and recent works by PUSH Dance Company and leading mid-career and emerging dance artists from the Bay Area and beyond will be featured during PUSHfest 2015, presented by PUSH Dance Company, a San Francisco-based contemporary dance company, founded by artistic Director Raissa Simpson. PUSHfestis a mixed-genre dance festival that showcases the work of  mid-career and emerging choreographers alongside the PUSH Company at San Francisco's ODC Theater (3153 17th Street) on September 18-20, 2015. Program A will be performed on Friday, September 18, at 8pm and Sunday, September 20, at 4pm.
