Broadway veterans Heidi Blickenstaff and Aaron Ramey, and Emmy Award Winner and Tony Nominee Gordon Clapp are among this year's Vermont BroadwayWorld Award nominees. Shows from a large cross-section of professional, semi-professional, and community theater groups are also represented in the 2012-2013 nominations. Let's take a look at some of the Vermont theater companies with BroadwayWorld Award Nominations:
The Waterbury Festival Playhouse, central Vermont's professional theater, in Waterbury Center, Vermont, presents 'Rumors' by Neil Simon. You arrive at a dinner party, the host has been shot, the hostess is nowhere to be found, no food is ready, and nobody knows what's going on. This is one of Neil Simon's classic studies of people in unusual situations. It is a hilarious comedy of misunderstandings and miscommunications in a group of friends in an unexpected situation. It sounds like a modern TV sitcom. Well it is. Live and in person and where you are the laugh track. Check out a first look below!
