Yale Repertory Theatre, in a co-production with American Repertory Theater, presents the world premiere of Marie Antoinette by David Adjmi, directed by Rebecca Taichman. Marie Antoinette will be performed at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street) October 26 through November 17. Opening Night is Thursday, November 1. The cast includes Fred Arsenault, Hannah Cabell, David Greenspan, Marin Ireland, Vin Knight, Jo Lampert, Polly Lee, Steven Rattazzi, Jake Silbermann, Teale Sperling, Brian Wiles, and Ashton Woerz.
Tony Winner Derek McLane to Design Set for 85th ACADEMY AWARDS

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Broadway production designer Derek McLane, who received the 2009 Tony Award for his scenic design for '33 Variations' has been selected by producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron to design the set for the 85th Academy Awards.

Two River Theater Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Dias and Managing Director Michael Hurst, announces updated information about its 2013 season. August Wilson's Two Trains Running and Noel Coward's Present Laughter will switch positions in the previously announced lineup; there are no other changes to the run dates, including opening nights.

The eight-play season will begin in September with Suzan-Lori Parks directing her own play Topdog/Underdog on the 10th anniversary of its winning the Pulitzer Prize.

Directed by Mark Brokaw, THE LYONS began previews April 5 and had its official opening night April 23 with a cast starring Tony winners Linda Lavin and Dick Latessa.
2012-2013 Tony Awards Nominating Committee Revealed

The Tony Awards Nominating Committee is a rotating group of up to 35 theatre professionals selected by the Tony Awards Administration Committee. Nominators serve for overlapping three-year terms. They are asked to see every new Broadway production and then meet each year shortly after the Tony eligibility deadline. They determine the nominations based on secret ballots supervised by an accounting firm. The results are announced early the following morning.

Mr. Hofheimer assumes the role of Curtis Lyons, joining the cast of THE LYONS which stars 2012 Best Actress Tony nominee Linda Lavin, Dick Latessa, Kate Jennings Grant, Brenda Pressley and Gregory Wooddell. Mr. Hofheimer takes over the role of Curtis from Michael Esper.

TDF's Holds Open Doors Graduation Today, 6/11

Over 350 guests including current and past New York City high school students, and the performing arts professional mentors who have participated in TDF's Open Doors, the theatre arts mentoring program that TDF founded in 1998 with playwright Wendy Wasserstein, will attend this year's graduation at 5:30pm tonight, June 11 at The Pershing Square Signature Center - Irene Diamond Stage (480 West 42nd Street, NYC). This year has been Open Doors' biggest year ever with a total of 23 mentors and 7 guest mentors working with 22 groups of students from New York City high schools.
