Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15 St.) will produce the world-premiere of the musical THE LANDING this fall, with music by the Tony Award-winning composer John Kander and book and lyrics by Greg Pierce, kicking off the company's 2013-14 season, it has been announced by Douglas Aibel, The Vineyard's Artistic Director, and Sarah Stern, Co-Artistic Director.

It's Possible! Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella has finally opened on Broadway. Performing this show every night is a dream come true! For so many months, I have wondered and dreamed of what this show would actually become. On opening night, March 3rd, I was so proud of the show that had been created. I was thrilled and grateful to be part of it, and it makes me so happy to believe that Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II would feel the same way.
The YALE INSTITUTE FOR MUSIC THEATRE (Mark Brokaw, Artistic Director) has selected two original book musicals, The Last Queen of Canaan, with music by Jacob Yandura and book and lyrics by Rebekah Greer Melocik, and Mrs. Hughes, with music and lyrics by Sharon Kenny and book by Janine Nabers, to be developed in an intensive lab setting in New Haven, June 4-16.
