Drury Lane Theatre presents the Tony Award-winning Broadway and West End smash hit THE 39 STEPS, previewing July 5, opening July 12 at 8 p.m. and running through August 26.

Jeremy Herrin directs the World Premiere of Matthew Dunster's Children's Children running at the Almeida now through 30 June 2012, with press night on 24 May. Designs are by Robert Innes Hopkins with lighting by Neil Austin and sound by Ian Dickinson. The cast comprises Emily Berrington (Effie), Beth Cordingly (Louisa), Darrell D'Silva (Michael), Trevor Fox (Gordon), John MacMillan (Castro) and Sally Rogers (Sally). Musicians Marc Anthony, Darius Rucker and Big & Rich will complete the all-star lineup of artists scheduled to perform on ACM PRESENTS: LIONEL RICHIE AND FRIENDS - IN CONCERT, taping Monday, April 2, 2012 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas to be broadcast on Friday, April 13 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Matilda the Musical, produced by the RSC and running at the Cambridge Theatre, leads the way with ten nominations - the maximum number of eligible awards for a musical this year. These notably include a collective nomination for Best Actress for all four young actresses who play the title role. Amongst other musical theatre productions Ghost The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre and the National Theatre's London Road have five and four nominations respectively.

A 'Pay What You Can" date, which allows patrons to purchase tickets for what they can afford, is Thursday, March 1.

Join the Fulcrum Point New Music Project, dancer Idy Ciss, saxophonist Jim Gailloreto, Morikeba Kouyate on the kora, and students from the Fulcrum Point Sound Tracks program as they explore the rich rhythms, sounds and images of West Africa in this 75-minute multimedia performance. Children of all ages are invited to participate in drumming circles, traditional African dances, and soulful songs in this spirited performance which features works by Fela Kuti, Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane, Steve Reich, and traditional music from Mandingo and African-American cultures.

For the second year running Harry Shearer and Judith Owen are back at the Southbank Centre this December with their hugely popular Holiday Sing-Along. The Simpson's and Spinal Tap star has teamed up with his wife the acclaimed singer fresh from her West End run of Losing It to host an evening of guests, seasonal cheer and irreverent fun.

Dallas Theater Center's A Christmas Carol opens today at the Kalita Humphreys Theater and runs through Dec. 24.
