The Old Vic Presents the Premiere of COVER MY TRACKS

Cover My Tracks, a new production with live music, starring Charlie Fink and Jade Anouka will be performed at The Old Vic from Monday 5 to Saturday 17 June at 10pm, as part of Lates at The Old Vic.

Emerson String Quartet Celebrates 40th Anniversary at Carnegie Hall

The world-renowned Emerson String Quartet returns to Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium on May 7 at 3 PM for a performance of Ravel and Berg Quartets and the Brahms Quintet with internationally acclaimed pianist Yefim Bronfman.  Presented by Carnegie Hall, this marks the final celebration of Emerson String Quartet's 40th Anniversary -- a major milestone for this ground-breaking ensemble, named "America's greatest quartet" by TIME Magazine. The Emerson Quartet continues to perform with the same benchmark integrity, energy and commitment that it has demonstrated since it was formed in 1976, and its 40th-Anniversary season reflects all aspects of the Quartet's venerable artistry with high-profile projects and collaborations, commissions and recordings.

BWW Review: ANTHONY AND CLEOPATRA, Royal Shakespeare Theatre

Condensing the political and military strife of ten years into a tightly concentrated 3 hours, Shakespeare's Anthony and Cleopatra is a beguiling, overwhelming mixture of tragedy, history, comedy and romance. Although the political machinations, battles and titular romance are all historically accurate, the majority of the action takes place off stage, and the play focuses on the passion, pride and greed which drive Mark Anthony, Octavius Caesar and Cleopatra, queen of Egypt.

Maya Beiser to Play Two Shows at Big Ears This Month

"Cello goddess" (The New Yorker) Maya Beiser will perform two shows at this year's Big Ears Festival. On Friday, March 24, at 10:30am she opens the day with Morning Trance, a solo show at The Mill & Mine, and on Saturday, March 25 at 6:30pm she takes the stage at the Bijou Theatre for Uncovered, classic rock reimagined with Glenn Kotche, drums and Gyan Riley, bass.
