The Tony Awards Administration Committee met today for the first time this season to decide the eligibility of 10 Broadway productions for the 2010 American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards®, presented by The Broadway League and The American Theatre Wing. The Tony Awards Administration Committee will meet a total of four times throughout the 2009-2010 season to decide the eligibility for the 2010 Tony Awards.

Final casting has been announced for The New Group's revival of Sam Shepard's A Lie of the Mind, directed by Ethan Hawke.

Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) limited engagement of After Miss Julie will play its final performance on Sunday, December 6th at 2:00 PM. Sienna Miller, Jonny Lee Miller and Marin Ireland star in this American premiere directed by Mark Brokaw, at the American Airlines Theatre.

The New Group has announced casting for it's revival of Sam Shepard's A Lie of the Mind, the second show of their 2009 - 2010 season. Directed by Ethan Hawke, the production will feature Josh Hamilton, Marin Ireland, Deirdre O'Connell, Alessandro Nivoloa, Maggie Siff and Frank Whaley. Additional casting to be announced very soon. The limited Off-Broadway engagement set to begin January 29, in advance of a February opening.

The latest to tackle this topic, Memphis, certainly wouldn't look like the best of the lot on paper, but on stage the gritty sincerity of Joe DiPietro's book coupled with David Bryan's infectiously melodic compositions (they collaborated on the lyrics), under Christopher Ashley's dynamic staging, frequently threaten to tear the roof off of the Shubert Theatre.

MCC Theater has announced the line-up for their Fall 2009 PlayLab play readings of new plays by members of the company's Playwrights' Coalition Anton Dudley, Matthew Stephen Smith and Kara Manning to be held on October 26, November 2 and November 9. The three-week Monday night series will offer a special opportunity to experience works in development by some of New York's most exciting playwrights. As an added bonus, audience members will be invited to mingle with the artists at post-performance receptions to be held each night.

After Miss Julie stars Sienna Miller as 'Miss Julie', Jonny Lee Miller as 'John' and Marin Ireland as 'Christine' in the American premiere of playwright Patrick Marber's drama After Miss Julie, a version of Strindberg's Miss Julie, directed by Mark Brokaw.
