Reed Birney and Nikki M. James to Read NUDE STUDY at Manhattan Theatre Club Studios, 6/20

Reed Birney, nominated for a Tony Award in Casa Valentina, and Nikki M. James, winner of the Tony Award for The Book of Mormon will appear in a reading of Ken Kaissar's new play Nude Study at Manhattan Theatre Club Studios (311 West 43rd Street, 8th Floor) on Friday, June 20 at 2:00 PM. Directed by Evan T. Cummings, they will be joined by Deirdre O'Connell, who was seen recently in Circle Mirror Transformation, Lisa Joyce, whose credits include Red Light Winter, and Tobias Segal, who was seen in From Up Here at Manhattan Theatre Club. Jake Gyllenhaal to Make Broadway Debut in Nick Payne's CONSTELLATIONS; Opens 1/13 at Samuel J. Friedman Theatre

Manhattan Theatre Club (Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director; Barry Grove, Executive Producer) and the Royal Court Theatre, by special arrangement with Ambassador Theatre Group and Dodger Properties, will produce the American premiere ofCONSTELLATIONS, the acclaimed new play by Nick Payne, directed by Michael Longhurst, starring Academy Award nominated actor Jake Gyllenhaal, on Broadway.

Michael Cerveris and Laura Osnes to Join Randy Newman in Encores! FAUST: THE CONCERT, July 1

Michael Cerveris, Isaiah Johnson, Randy Newman, Laura Osnes, Vonda Shepard, Brooklyn Shuck, Tony Vincent and Broadway Inspirational Voices have been cast in Randy Newman's Faust: The Concert, which will be performed on July 1 as the second Encores! Off-Center presentation of the 2014 season. Faust will be directed by Thomas Kail and choreographed by Marcos Santana. Jeanine Tesori is the Encores! Off-Center artistic director; Chris Fenwick is its music director.

Scott Foley, Eric Lange and More Join Blythe Danner in THE COUNTRY HOUSE, Opening Tonight at the Geffen

Geffen Playhouse welcomes Scott Foley (Scandal, The Unit, Felicity), Eric Lange (The Bridge, Weeds), David Rasche (Speed-The-Plow Broadway, Lunch Hour), Emily Swallow (The Mentalist, Manhattan Theatre Club's Romantic Poetry), and Sarah Steele (off-Broadway: Slowgirl, The Netflix Plays) alongside Tony and Emmy winner Blythe Danner in the world premiere of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Donald Margulies's The Country House.

Susan Louise O'Connor to Lead Readings of Wild Root Company's PERFECT ARRANGEMENT, 6/19

The Wild Root Company, a New York City-based production endeavor committed to cultivating new works from emerging playwrights and screenwriters, will present two free industry readings of Topher Payne's timely new comedy PERFECT ARRANGEMENTon Thursday June 19, 2014 at 3:00 and 7:30 pm at The Creative Center at Manhattan Theatre Club. Linda Lombardi, who helmed the play's critically acclaimed, sold-out world premiere at The Source Festival in Washington, D.C. in 2013, will direct. The Wild Root Company will produce the readings in association with Sean Hudock, Rocco Natale and Thatcher Stevens.

Michael Arden & West End Stars Headline Return of Writing Duo Kerrigan-Lowdermilk in One (More) Night in London, 16 June

American actor Michael Arden will join West End stars Julie Atherton, Lucie Jones and Stuart Matthew Price alongside award-winning Off Broadway writing duo Kerrigan-Lowdermilk to showcase their work at the St. James Studio on Monday 16 June in Kerrigan-Lowdermilk: One (More) Night in London. Kerrigan-Lowerdmilk's return follows an acclaimed sold-out weekend of concerts at St. James Studio in February.

F. Murray Abraham and Stockard Channing Join Megan Mullally & More in Broadway-Bound IT'S ONLY A PLAY

Producers Tom Kirdahy, Roy Furman, and Ken Davenport announced today that Academy Award® winner F. Murray Abraham, Tony Award® winner Matthew Broderick, Tony Award® winner Stockard Channing, Tony Award®winner Nathan Lane, Emmy Award® winner Megan Mullally, and Micah Stock will star on Broadway in a newly revised version of Terrence McNally's uproarious comedy, It's Only a Play, which first premiered in New York in 1986 at the Manhattan Theatre Club. Tony Award® winner Jack O'Brien will direct. Additional casting will be announced shortly. The production will play a strictly limited 17-week engagement at Broadway's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street) beginning this fall, 2014, with an opening night set for Thursday, October 9.

The New York City Arts in Education Roundtable will host MOONSTRUCK MEETS STARSTUCK: A FESTIVE BENEFIT FOR THE YOUNG AT ART on Monday, June 9th at 6:00 pm at the Park Avenue Armory (643 Park Avenue). This year's benefit will honor the artistry of John Patrick Shanley and support the Roundtable's programs for the hundreds of organizations and practitioners who bring arts education to the city's schools and communities.

ANNAPURNA Ends Off-Broadway Run, 6/1

The New Group opened the New York premiere of Annapurna by Sharr White, directed by Bart DeLorenzo and featuring Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman, on April 21. The limited Off-Broadway engagement will officially end its run on June 1.
