DMT to Present HANK WILLIAMS: LOST HIGHWAY

The Douglas Morrisson Theatre has announced the fourth show in our 2014-2015 Journeys Season, HANK WILLIAMS: Lost Highway, The Music and Legend of Hank Williams by Randal Myler and Mark Harelik.

Jim Parsons-Led AN ACT OF GOD Seeks Angels for Broadway

An Act of God begins performances on May 5, 2015 and officially opens on May 28, 2015 on Broadway at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street). According to an Equity casting notice, the production is currently seeking Parsons' two co-stars- Michael (30s. An angel of God's. Funny, impulsive, as irreverent as an angel of God's can be) and Gabriel (40s. An angel of God's. By the books; no-nonsense). Auditions for the roles will take place later this week.

A Red Orchid Theatre Extends ACCIDENTALLY, LIKE A MARTYR thru March 15

Due to overwhelming demand, A Red Orchid Theatre announces the extension of Accidentally, Like a Martyr, written by Grant James Varjas and directed by Ensemble Member Shade Murray and featuring Ensemble Members Steve Haggard, and Doug Vickers with David Cerda, Layne Manzer, Luce Metrius, Troy West and Dominique Worsley The production now runs January 15 - March 15, 2015, at A Red Orchid Theatre, 1531 N. Wells.

Jim Parsons to Star in NBC's BUDDY'S MUSICAL CHRISTMAS Based on Broadway's ELF!

NBC is bringing in the holiday spirit with the stop-motion hourlong animated special “Elf: Buddy's Musical Christmas,” set to air Tuesday, Dec. 16 at 8 p.m. Based on the popular film “Elf” and the hit Broadway show “Elf: The Musical,” the special will star four-time Emmy Award winner Jim Parsons (“The Big Bang Theory”) as Buddy.
