Metropolitan favorite Liz Callaway returns to the Metropolitan Room on December 31 with two shows. Her first show, beginning at 8pm, is to celebrate the release of her newest CD Passage of Time. The album -her first in 8 years- includes music by Stephen Sondheim, James Taylor, Rogers and Hammerstein, Maltby and Shire, Ahrens and Flaherty, Stephen Schwartz, and Carly Simon.

The New York Times is reporting that Tony winner Jefferson Mays, Elisabeth Waterson, and Rocco Sisto will topline the cast in Theater for a New Audience's Measure for Measure. The production, which is being directed by Arin Arbus (who directed the theater company's Othello last season), will play the Duke on 42nd Street from February 6 - March 14. Opening night is February 14.

Bernadette Peters devotes her time and talents to numerous events that benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Peters' 'pet project' is Broadway Barks, which she co-founded with friend Mary Tyler Moore, which is an annual, star-studded dog and cat adoption event presented each summer in Shubert Alley, benefiting over two dozen rescue shelters throughout the New York City area. She recently added author and songwriter to her roster of achievements with her debut children's book Broadway Barks which debuted on The New York Times Bestseller list.

Jenen, will present its popular annual open rehearsal series with MONDAY NIGHT MUCH ADO, featuring Tony Award winner Mandy Patinkin as Benedict in Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing on Monday, December 7 and Monday, December 14, directed by Brian Kulick. Patinkin appeared last season at CSC in Shakespeare's The Tempest, directed by Kulick.
