Pasadena Playhouse presents CAMELOT, featuring book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe.

Pasadena Playhouse announced casting today for their upcoming production of Lerner and Loewe's CAMELOT, featuring book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe. Nine-time Emmy Award-winning director/writer/producer David Lee (co-creator of 'Frasier' and director of the Ovation Award-winning production of Can-Can at Pasadena Playhouse) directs a cast of eight in this timeless tale of passion, desire and betrayal. Based on 'The Once and Future King' by T.H. White, CAMELOT was originally directed and staged by Moss Hart on Broadway in 1960. The musical, which is the first production of the Playhouse's 2010 Season, will play January 8 - February 7, 2010 with the official press opening on Friday, January 15 at Pasadena Playhouse.

South Coast Repertory will present The Heiress, the psychological drama of love, innocence and betrayal by Ruth Goetz and Augustus Goetz. Helmed by Artistic Director Martin Benson, The Heiress will run from Oct. 17 through Nov. 16 on the Segerstrom Stage. Low-priced previews are available from Oct. 17 through Oct. 23. South Coast Repertory today announced the cast and creative team for The Heiress, the psychological drama of love, innocence and betrayal by Ruth Goetz and Augustus Goetz.

The 39th annual Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Awards will be handed out on March 17 at North Hollywood's El Portal Theatre. The awards, recognizing excellence in Southern California theatre, including Los Angeles and Orange County, will be hosted by Jason Graae.

The new GrooveLily musical Sleeping Beauty Wakes, which began previews March 31st at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in L.A., will open on April 7th to run through May 13th, 2007.
