The North Raleigh Arts and Creative Theatre (NRACT) will present the holiday classic 'Miracle on 34th Street' for nine performances, today ,Dec. 6-22.

Deadline writes that Lifetime will air a TV movie based on Los Angeles' real-life serial killer the 'Grim Sleeper'. The feature will star Dreama Walker, Macy Gray, Ernie Hudson and Michael O'Neill and is set to be directed by Stanley M. Brooks.

The miracle in MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET is the ability of Kris Kringle to infuse the holiday with the true spirit of Christmas in the face of raging commercialism, harried shoppers, and cynical doubters. Adapted from the beloved 1947 film, the play at Stoneham Theatre does not fare as well in its stage bound version, despite the best efforts of all involved.

Just in time to witness the end of Thanksgiving and joyfully move on towards a celebration of the Christmas season, the incredibly talented cast of "Miracle on 34th Street, the Musical" (also known as "Here's Love") brings Meredith Wilson's rarely staged musical to life with its jubilant presence, proclaiming that it is time at last for Santa to make his much anticipated appearance - this time in Bay Ridge.

The New England Premiere, with additional underwriting provided by Radisson Hotel Providence Airport, will run at Ocean State Theatre from December 4 - 29.

You may know it as Here's Love. You may know it as It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas. (The show has been produced under both titles.) Currently the 1963 Meredith Willson musical based on the film Miracle on 34th Street goes under the name of its source material, the 1947 classic movie, and Toby's Columbia is presenting it in a very impressive revival.

The Good Theater's (Portland, ME) New England premiere of A.R. Gurney's latest play, The Grand Manner, is a wistful, droll, and stylish production of this charming, nostalgic paean to theatre on the Great White Way in 1948. The play, which originally opened at New York's Lincoln Center Theatre in 2010, deals with an autobiographical episode, augmented into legend.
