Men's Wearhouse Begins to Acquire Jos. A. Bank At $57.50 Per Share

The Men's Wearhouse announced that it has commenced a cash tender offer to acquire all outstanding shares of Jos. A. Bank Clothiers, Inc. (JOSB) for $57.50 per share. The tender offer is scheduled to expire at 5:00 p.m., New York City time on Friday, March 28, 2014, unless the offer is extended. The full terms, conditions and other details of the tender offer are set forth in the offering documents that Men's Wearhouse will be filing today with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Bergen County Players continues its "From Page to Stage" season with Mamet's Speed-the-Plow, a no-holds-barred look at the cutthroat world of the Hollywood film industry, over four weekends beginning Saturday, January 11th and concluding Saturday, February 1st. Performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell, Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 pm and Sunday performances are at 2 pm. An A-list roster of voice talent has been assembled for the English-language version of Studio Ghibli's “The Wind Rises,” which opens in select North American theaters on Feb. 21, 2014, expanding wide on Feb. 28, 2014. The film marks director Hayao Miyazaki's final feature, as the legendary animation veteran announced his retirement in September 2013.

The play is not the light-hearted, feel-good fare audiences have come to expect; however, I defy anyone to walk away from a performance without feeling moved and permanently altered.
