The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey will hold its Costume, Prop, and Scenery Saleon Sunday, October 20th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Theatre's production facility at 3 Vreeland Road in Florham Park. Doors open at 10:00 a.m. sharp. Admission and parking is free.

The Penny Seats third annual summer show at Ann Arbor's West Park opens on July 11th. This year, the troupe is proud to present Little Me, the farcical autobiography of Belle Poitrine, supposed star of stage, screen, and sinking ship. From her humble origins as Belle Schlumpfert on Drifter's Row, to her meteoric rise to wealth, culture, and social position, to her many mates and her one true love, all are here. Neil Simon's script is a scream (yes, Neil Simon wrote a musical!), and the music by Cy Coleman and Carolyn Leigh sparkles. Better still, Penny Seat Roy Sexton will attempt a comic tour de force originated by Sid Caesar and designed just for this show: he will play no fewer than six characters. Cameron Mackintosh's new 25th anniversary production of LES MISERABLES remains scheduled to open tomorrow, Tuesday, June 25 at 8 p.m. SHARP at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium. Despite TransCanada highway closures, the company has planned alternative routing from Vancouver, in order to ensure the trucks and cast arrive to Calgary safely, and on time to make the originally scheduled Tuesdayopening.

The Brighton Neighborhood Association and New York Arm Wrestling Association are joining forces to present the 30th Annual Brooklyn-'Kingsboro' Arm Wrestling Championships at the 36th Brighton Jubilee Festival today, August 26, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. The action will take place in F/O 3264 Coney Island Ave. off Brighton Beach Ave. going toward Brightwater Court and the Beach Boardwalk.
