IN THE CAR WITH BLOSSOM AND LEN Fills Second Slot in Centenary Stage's Women Playwrights Series Tonight

Family dynamics can be the source of endless comedic material, as is the case in the 2nd play of the CSC Women Playwrights Series, 'In the Car with Blossom and Len' by Joni Fritz, which will be presented tonight, Apr 23 at 7:30 PM in the Lackland Center in Hackettstown. In this funny and poignant new play, a basket full of unpaid bills for chemical engineer Lenny Gold's laboratory is discovered one of his adult daughters, unveiling a lifetime of secrets, a mysterious silent partner, and a few other challenges which must be met by this family. 'In the Car..' is a delightful family saga about growing up, growing older and where you put the keys.

Amas Musical Theatre to Stage Readings of COOKIN! - A TASTE OF THINGS TO COME, 5/12-13 at St. Luke's Theatre

Amas Musical Theatre and The Amas Musical Theatre Lab will present free staged readings of "Cookin! - A Taste of Things to Come," a new musical by Debra Barsha and Hollye Levin, with musical direction by Gillian Berkowitz. Directed by Tony Award nominee Lynne Taylor-Corbett (Swing!), the readings will be held on Monday, May 12th at 1pm & 4pm and Tuesday, May 13th at 4pm at St. Luke's Theatre.

American Cancer Society Benefit DANCE AGAINST CANCER Set for 5/5

Producers Erin Fogarty and Daniel Ulbricht have partnered with the American Cancer Society to present the fourth annual Dance Against Cancer on Monday, May 5, 2014 with cocktails at 6pm (VIP ticket only), followed by a performance at 7pm, and a post-show reception at the AXA Equitable Theater, 787 Seventh Avenue (between 51st and 52nd Streets), NYC. Tickets are $150 ($300 for VIP) and are available at www.dacny.org.

Town Hall Arts Center Presents SWING!, Now thru 3/23

The next production in Town Hall Arts Center's 2013-2014 Season will be Swing!, Original concept by Paul Kelly, original direction and choreography by Lynne Taylor ' Corbett. Swing! is directed by Matthew D. Peters, most recently seen choreographing Peter Pan for PACE and Home for the Holidays at Lone Tree Arts Center, Matthew makes his directorial debut at Town Hall Arts Center.

Amas Musical Theatre and The Countess of Storyville, present a developmental workshop of the new musical by Martin Silvestri (music), Joel Higgins (lyrics) and R.M. Cohen (book). This epic story of lust, love, mystery and murder will begin performances on February 12, 2014 at The Peter J. Sharp Theatre (416 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) and continue through February 15. Lynne Taylor-Corbett directs. Principal Dancer Kaori Nakamura Will Retire From Pacific Northwest Ballet at End of Season

Pacific Northwest Ballet Artistic Director Peter Boal has announced that after a 17-year career with the Company, principal dancer Kaori Nakamura will retire from performing at the end of PNB's 2013-2014 season. Ms. Nakamura joined PNB as a soloist in 1997 and was promoted to principal in 1998. Following her retirement, Ms. Nakamura will be joining the faculty of PNB School.
